Account Deletion

At Sawari Ride Nepal Pvt. Ltd., we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. If you decide to delete your account, we offer two methods to initiate the deletion process.

🚀 In-App Account Deletion

You can request to delete your account directly from within the app. Here's how:

1. Open the Sawari Ride app.
2. Tap the sidebar menu (≡) in the top-left corner.
3. Scroll down and tap on Settings.
4. At the bottom of the page, tap on the “Delete Account” tile.
5. You will be prompted to verify your identity using an OTP sent to your registered phone number.
6. Upon successful verification, your account deletion request will be initiated.

⚠️ Note: Account deletion is scheduled after a 30-day grace period. During this time, your account can be recovered if you change your mind. After 30 days, all associated data will be permanently deleted, unless required to be retained by applicable law.

✉️ Request via Email

Alternatively, if you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

• Send an email to: contact@sawariride.com
• Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
• Include the following details in your email:
  • Registered phone number
  • Registered email address (if applicable)

📞 After receiving your request, our support team will contact you via phone or email to confirm your identity before proceeding with deletion.

🔐 What Happens After Deletion?

• Your personal data including profile, ride history, documents, and uploaded media will be permanently deleted.
• You will not be able to access your account unless recovery is requested within the 30-day grace period.
• Some limited data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance purposes (e.g. financial or tax records).
